The Procurement Data Analyst Intern will support the Data Manager with various assigned projects and tasks that touch multiple PCC divisions and sites.  The successful candidate will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and supply chain experience. This role will also support and/or lead initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects to conclusion, such as Supplier DEI reporting.
  • Under direction perform tasks that contribute to the development and enhancement of the Procurement Data Lake.
  • Interface with IT to resolve issues as they are discovered with automatic data uploads.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for the Procurement team on spend data.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to visualize and explain raw data sets into usable conclusions is desired.
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of lean principles and strong problem-solving skills (Value Stream Mapping, Statistical Process Control, Lean) would be an advantage.
  • Strong personal computer skills (excel and including word processing software skills).

Experience & Education:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or related business degree.
  • Any prior manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
