PCC Structurals also provides solidification modeling, in house rapid prototyping (including SLA), digital radiography, hot isostatic pressing, precision machining and protective coating services. We operate 11 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe.

Atlantic Precision, Inc. (API) is a premier Aerospace Machining & Build Facility with a talented work
force using the latest 3D printing metal and additive manufacturing technologies. Located in Port St.
Lucie, Florida, we are trusted by OEMs in commercial aviation, military aviation, power generation and
the marine industry to produce quality parts for both prototypes and production requirements.
Responsible for the finishing of machined parts while demonstrating API’s commitment to quality and safety.

Understands, adheres to, and demonstrates API’s commitment to quality and safety.

Reads, studies and comprehends blueprints, sketch sheets, customer specifications, and manufacturing instructions, as necessary to perform job.

Selects and sets up appropriate tooling and equipment.

Performs deburring processes, including filing, grinding, honing, and polishing, by using established procedures to meet required engineering specifications.

Performs rework assignments, as required and approved by department lead.

Cleans parts through the use of hand wiping, solvent washing and alkaline/chemical cleaning.

Sets up gauges, dials, indicators, or other measuring tools for a job.

Verifies work by visual and final inspections of machined components to ensure product is within required parameters.

Ensures all paperwork and documentation for parts is complete and accurate.

Complies with all operational procedures to minimize errors and supports continuous improvement activities.

Provides feedback to lead machinist and production management in regard to parts quality.

Maintains a safe and clean work environment, including performing housekeeping duties.

Performs additional work duties as assigned.

Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

High School diploma
