This role requires the candidate to work on-site at the TIMET facility in Ravenswood, WV. This is not a remote position. 

The Division Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for design working across engineering and maintenance groups to lead major automation capital projects as well as to identify and prioritize critical controls projects and assist with detailed project specifications that help guide the division and the plants towards controls upgrades for critical manufacturing equipment. The Senior Controls Engineer will engage a variety of engineering resources both internal and external, to execute projects on time and within budget, working to help define controls systems strategy and standards across the Metals Division.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • B.S. or M.S. in electrical engineering or related field
  • Formal training or experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
  • 5 or more years of controls-related automation experience

Special Skills

  • Adept at reading and creating electrical and control system drawings/documentation including line diagrams, P&ID diagrams, ladder logic documentation
  • Experience with 2D drafting software such as AutoCad LT
  • SAP
  • SQL, TSQL or PLSQL a plus
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in closed loop control circuits
