PURPOSE:

  • It is the responsibility of the compounder to manufacture and thin various types of coatings.
  • It is responsibility of the washer to replenish washroom chemicals.
  • Compounder must have knowledge of inventory, and know how to flow product on a first in first out basis.
  • Must work well with all levels of management and staff, as well as external partners and vendor account representatives
  • Must follow meticulously chain-of-command and reporting structures.
  • Supervisors and Managers as deemed appropriate may assign additional functions and requirements.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Must understand formulas, weights and measurements, and conversions.
  • It is responsibility of the wash personnel to replenish or discard/remake solutions when directed by lab personnel.
  • Must be able to use scales, mixers, forklift, and various other warehouse/compounding equipment.
  • Must be able to lift upwards of 60 lbs.
  • Must keep a safe level of shop floor supplies, compounding supplies, hardware supplies, and any other item that will affect business directly or indirectly.
  • Must be able to apply common sense to understanding to carry out and follow instruction
  • Supervisors as deemed appropriate may assign additional functions and requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

Experience

  • Previous chemical work experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Good Interpersonal, Oral and Written Communication Skills

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $15.50 to $23.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 40 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
