RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full Plant responsibility for manufacturing of the Eastlake, Ohio Plant.
  • Responsible for leadership and development of all post cast manufacturing operations at Sherwood Metal Products.
  • Will have responsibility for manufacturing methods improvement, productivity improvement, and quality/scrap improvement.
  • Ensure that legal and company safety policies are enforced.
  • Establish and execute annual operating budgets for areas under supervision and take appropriate action to correct deviations from budgets or operating plans.
  • Control quality, delivery, cost of production, work-in-process levels, and monitor production through manufacturing planning.
  • Maintain and enhance a team environment and a motivated, effective work force.
  • Effective communications/problem solving skills a must to maintain positive employee relations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B. S. Degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidates should be knowledgeable of manufacturing systems, process control and cost control.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Direct management experience of both machine extensive and labor intensive activities is a must.
  • Progressive manufacturing experience.
