Position Summary:
QA Specialist works with other quality assurance personnel (Quality Manager, Quality Engineers, etc.) to process gage calibration records, material test reports, and product certifications for customer shipments. The QA Specialist also assists in internal audits, filing and managing quality records, and scanning documents as necessary using the relevant databases and ERP software. The QA Specialist ensures that procedures are followed in compliance with specific industry standards (AS9100, Nadcap, etc.) and assists in revising the procedures as applicable. The QA Specialist will interact with other functional departments regarding non-conformances resulting from quality issues or internal and external audits.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction
- Walking or standing for extended periods of time
Required Skills:
- The ability to read and write English.
- Typing and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Required Experience:
- Typically, 0-2 Years
Level of Education:
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
