GENERAL SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for the control and disposition of non-conforming material that requires
rework, and that is not a standard operation of the traveler.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Provides quick and accurate disposition of non-conforming material.
2. Reviews castings and all necessary paperwork. After review determines routing of castings.
3. Reviews completion of all the operations shown on the rework traveler.
4. Verifies that the paperwork is correct and orderly.
5. Works closely with quality, engineering and supervisory personnel to resolve discrepancies.
6. Must be familiar with unique customer requirements.
7. Assist operators with proper D-tag preparation.
8. Responsible for safe work practices by adhering to safety rules; identifies and reports safety
problems.
9. Trains and works closely with Level I analyst.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

1. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
2. Effectively use desktop PC, email, and internal company software.
3. Must possess neat and legible penmanship.
4. In-depth knowledge and understanding of PCC’s processing guidelines and procedures
including Quality Control Manual and Mfg Standard Operating Manuals.
5. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner; adhere to safety rules.
6. Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year experience working in the backend
manufacturing departments of the investment casting industry and familiarity in the processing of
titanium investment castings. Must have passed Level II written exam, and meet quality & quantity
standards. Must possess and maintain two other certifications ie: DV, FPI, DIM, Radiography, and
be willing to work in that position as needed including overtime situations.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand and walk to perform daily job functions. Ability to communicate both verbally and
in writing. Ability to exert up to thirty-five pounds of force to lift and move objects. Ability to read
reports and use computer. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust,
chemicals, and varying temperatures.
