Position Summary:
PCC Structurals is seeking future or current college graduates who generate enthusiastic energy and have the desire to win. The Technical Rotational Program (TRP) is designed to enable such individuals to accelerate their career growth, as they increase their value to PCC to become future engineering and operations leaders. In just two years, those selected will be provided maximum exposure to critical aspects of PCC’s investment casting operations, while focusing on building technical competencies and developing the skill sets needed to support the organization.
The program includes two 1-year rotation opportunities to support all Structurals Division locations across the US. Each engineering focused rotation will involve on-the-job assignments that will immerse participants in full time roles such as dimensional, metallurgical, process control, facilities, manufacturing, and quality engineering. PCC Structurals will relocate the participant each rotation and do our best to match the member with the most meaningful learning experience within the preferred regions.
Minimum qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership ability and team building skills. This may be obtained through membership in scholastic clubs or associations, extracurricular affiliations, or memberships, or as described more fully in applicants resume.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Relocation required
- Experience & Education:
- Must be a US Person*
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University
- A cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Intern or co-op experience is preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required
*This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful application must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work. Program Completion:
The vision of the program is to develop a well-rounded, prepared, and sufficiently skilled professional to effectively support business priorities, while also ensuring participants can transition from the TRP program into a specific full-time role in an area of interest upon successful graduation. The skills gained from this program will be transferrable across all of PCC’s businesses and will afford successful candidates the opportunity to grow within the organization.
