Job Description: The AR Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accounts payable and receivables in an efficient and effective manner as defined within the guidelines of the company’s structure. Duties include:

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times, along with the ability to emphasize customer service both internally and externally
  • Record all accounts payable/receivable transactions in computerized accounts payable system to ensure Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to review sales orders and prepare customer invoices from those orders in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper documentation is received to invoice and that coding of invoices and credit memos is accurate
  • Follow up on collection status of invoices to ensure that payment is received in a timely manner.
  • Weekly prepares check disbursements to ensure timely payment of vendor services
  • Maintains accounts payable/receivable filing system to ensure the expeditious retrieval information
  • Performs timely reconciliations of accounts payable/receivable, employee expense accounts, and credit card statements
  • All other duties as assigned or as it relates to the completion of a project

Requirements- Associate degree in Business or Accounting or equivalent job experience (3-4 years). Oracle experience is preferred in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in finance (accounting and reporting) along with excellent customer service while handling internal and external clients. This candidate should also have the ability to interpret customer orders and contracts to determine appropriate accounting, and accurately enter financial information on a daily basis. Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. OT as needed.

Account reconciliation as necessary.

Excellent oral and written communications to customers, vendors, and employees.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.50 to $28.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 160 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
