ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general supervision, must exercise knowledge to perform a variety of job duties relating to the proficient support to production sites including but not limited to:


  • Reviews work orders and determines electrical modifications per specifications.
  • Inspects new parts to determine if it meets work order specifications
  • Understands and can program PLC systems, read ladder diagrams, factory manuals and schematics
  • Ensures any wiring of new and rebuilt equipment complies with National Electrical Code and OSHA regulations.
  • Provide assistance to interdepartmental personnel, machinists, re-builders and mechanics.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Complies with all environmental safe practices and regulations. Reads all MSDS’ and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
  •  In addition to the above, Mechanics are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    High school diploma or GED, and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Basic math, some algebra, understanding of vectors,-lag of current behind voltage.
    • Blueprint reading-schematics, ladder diagrams.
    • Use Allen Brady SLK 500, Microview Programming.
    • Inspection-visual. Maintain filing system-work orders.
    • Maintain logs-work orders Proofread documents-occasional memos regarding electrical Research information-electrical, NEC, products to update.

    For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $28 to $35 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 69 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
    This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
