- Coordinate and direct functions in the following areas:
- Machine Shop, CAD/CAM, and the Saw Department.
- Set objectives and plans to match corporate objectives.
- Create personnel discipline that is maintained to provide a healthy work environment.
- Monitor production control (scheduling, prioritizing, and expediting) of all Rayo production department orders.
- Oversee estimates for new jobs.
- Oversee that equipment maintenance is performed in a timely manner.
- Develop and encourage department interaction.
- Integrate standard work into all operations.
- Create training and cross-training to permit promotion from within.
- Maintain continuous material movement in and out of Rayo production departments.
- Motivate and plan departments to meet short and long term objectives.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and a minimum of ten years managerial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of Company management. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
