MISSION:

You will manage all aspects of the day-to-day sales activities at a PCC Plant which include but are not limited to the following:  pricing, quoting, customer communications, customer commits/LOB’s, technical or producibility issues resolution with customers, supporting key customer meetings, late to PO reductions, developing and executing key customer sales strategy, past due AR resolution.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop, coordinate and maintain systems to assist top management in financial control, decision making and strategic planning. Coordinate the development of short and long range financial and sales plans.  Present sales and financial performance to management. 

  1. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analysis and status reports of on-going business activities, e.g., operating performance vs. budget, status of major spending and sales activities.
  2. You will be asked to provide sales input for higher level meetings, forecasts, annual budgets, and operating reviews as directed by your supervisor.
  3. Direct the activities of other analysts and support staff. Provide training to other analysts, support staff and account managers.
  4. You will manage the Plant Sales Team. This includes but is not limited to the following:  performance management, work assignments, employee development, rotational program sales training, cross-training, and succession planning.
  5. You manage and support plants metrics including but not limited to the following: Sales Growth, Sales Margin, NRE/Tool Sales, Sales Budget Achievement, On-time delivery to customer commits, Late AR reduction, FG/MRB Inventory reduction, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field preferred. MBA or Masters of Science degree strongly preferred.  Three to five years’ experience in aerospace sales, engineering and operations required. 

  1. Ability to think and work independently. Must have thorough knowledge of financial and quantitative analysis techniques, management accounting and information systems and computer systems.  Strong interpersonal and communications skills with prior supervisor experience preferred.
  2. This position will require approximately 30% travel to either PCC customers or other PCC plants.
