Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist EHS Manager/Specialist with a variety of EHS related projects,
  • Assist with the administration of the EHS Management System,
  • Assist with administering PPE and uniform service,
  • Assist EHS Manager/Specialist with filing and organizing paperwork,
  • Assist with growing behavior-based safety using positive reinforcement techniques,
  • Assist with EHS Policy Enforcement,
  • Work safely. Adhere to all company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures, and
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Education and Experience

 

Studies in Safety, Health and/or a related field of study and a High School Diploma. 

 

Work Environment

 

The working environment is a typical industrial manufacturing setting consisting of foundry and processing, laboratory, warehousing, and a variety of support office-based surroundings.

 

The associate will work in all of these areas to support the site in all aspects of Safety, Health, and Environmental Sustainability. This may expose the associate to work near moving mechanical parts / work in elevated temperatures / risk of electrical shock; the typical noise level is moderate noise.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees within the organization.
  • Effectively demonstrate good judgment
  • Must be capable of accepting and exercising an elevated level of responsibility in keeping and maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
  • Basic competency is MS Word and Excel.
  • Proficient communication skills.
