Job Summary

The student will:

  • Apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for all assignments – identifying areas of process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Participate on Engineering and Quality department or project teams – analyze improvements and new product or applications and develop requirements and specifications with team.
  • Learn Measurement and Test Methods and apply hands on activities support development of Work Instructions and skills.
  • Work within guidelines and specifications provided to meet project goals, objectives and assignments in a timely and accurate manner – receiving progressive responsibility as goals are met.
  • Attend training sessions and other appropriate educational opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications

  • Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Systems or Materials Science Engineering.
  • Demonstrated results-driven leadership.
  • Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.50 to $27.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. Employees will receive 0  hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
