            RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assure parts are properly processed to the applicable NDT method specifications.
  • Read and interpret indications with reference to applicable Quality Engineering Instructions. (QEI)
  • Perform system capability check specified in FPM.
  • Perform set up and calibration of equipment.
  • Organize, report, and maintain records of penetrant inspection results, plus department inventory.
  • Move parts to proper department after FPI inspection is complete.
  • Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.

 

            QUALIFICATIONS:

  • FPI Level II Certification preferred.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in NDT with concentration in FPI.
  • PWA CTA Certification is a Plus.
  • Must be well organized and able to self-direct daily activities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.

 

            REQUIREMENTS:

  • Meet or exceed fined Visual Acuity (when required).
  • Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
  • Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).
