RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assure parts are properly processed to the applicable NDT method specifications.
- Read and interpret indications with reference to applicable Quality Engineering Instructions. (QEI)
- Perform system capability check specified in FPM.
- Perform set up and calibration of equipment.
- Organize, report, and maintain records of penetrant inspection results, plus department inventory.
- Move parts to proper department after FPI inspection is complete.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- FPI Level II Certification preferred.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in NDT with concentration in FPI.
- PWA CTA Certification is a Plus.
- Must be well organized and able to self-direct daily activities.
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Meet or exceed fined Visual Acuity (when required).
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
- Additional training to comply with applicable SOP/Certifications (when required).
