Since 1950, TIMET has been leading the industry in mill and melted products, supplying nearly one-fifth of the world's titanium demand.
We melt and refine ingot and slab; manufacture mill products; and support our customers through a worldwide network of service centers and manufacturing facilities.
Quality/Engineering Co-Op Job Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze daily titanium melting process data.
- Coordinate with Melting Operations personnel.
- Work with Quality Engineers to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Review and release raw materials for production use.
- Project I – implement non-destructive measurement techniques.
- Project II – improve product marking for titanium products.
Experience & Education
- Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or similar may be considered.
- Minimum sophomore standing enrolled at an accredited 4-year university is required
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher is preferred
Required Skills
- Knowledge of related engineering discipline functional and technical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Access)
- Strong writing skills and interpersonal skills
- Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in an environment where business and team needs may change.
