McWilliams Forge Company, in Rockaway, NJ, is a well-established leader in the manufacture of precision forged products for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a Boiler Operator. Candidates must have good eye and hand coordination and attention to detail. Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing environment a plus.

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the boiler houses including the Main Steam Plant (process steam) and the Space Heat boiler.
  • Operates boilers, associated water treatment, economizer and auxiliary equipment maintaining required system pressures, temperatures and water levels.
  • Maintains operating records.
  • Responsible for maintenance in the boiler houses.
  • Will cooperate with Maintenance Department and Plant Engineering as required to keep the steam plant on-line and reliably operable.
  • Ensures safe operation of utility equipment by performing frequent inspections.
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
