RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Quality Systems to ISO 9000 and Customer standards
  • Control and interpretation of customer requirements and issuance of necessary instructions for conformance to these requirements.
  • Interface with customer representative for source inspections and quality issue resolution.
  • Responsible for review of customer drawings, specifications, etc. to identify customer quality requirements- Product and System.
  • Prepare inspection instructions for Radiographic, Fluorescent Penetrant, Grain Etch, Visual and Dimensional Inspection.
  • Perform audits to monitor product quality.
  • Support manufacturing/inspection training activity.
  • Support manufacturing/inspection training activity.
  • Quality investigations as required to identify and eliminate scrap/rework causes.
  • Schedule and review casting layouts per internal and customer requirements.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • B.S. in Technical Discipline
  • Six Sigma Training
  • 1-3 years Quality experience preferred.  Experience which combines both customer contact and technical discipline will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and airfoil specifications a definite asset.
  • Excellent communicator and capable of interacting with different levels of the organization.
