Wyman-Gordon: Wyman-Gordon is a worldwide supplier to the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. We hold quality accreditations for all of the major airframe and engine manufacturers for both civil and military applications. Wyman-Gordon creates rotating closed-die forgings which are critical for aerospace and land-based gas turbines.  Wyman-Gordon also manufactures structural forgings for airframe, nuclear, petrochemical, power generation, and space applications.
Located in Dillon, South Carolina Wyman Gordon is a major industrial manufacturer serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, power generation, and industrial businesses. 
This position is responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, programming the CNC milling machines, and adjusting the machine settings until the desired specifications are met.  This position will also work with cross functional teams regarding any quality and performance issues that might arise during machining. 
• Develop robust, cost-effective machining processes that meet quality requirements for the Machining Department
• Develop and maintain CNC machine programs using Mastercam software
• Specify equipment, tooling and supplies needed
• Provide technical support and guidance for hourly employees
• Meet and improve quality standards to reduce rework and nonconformance
• Meet and improve performance standards for increased productivity
• Project development and management along with engineering team
• Assist in Root Cause analysis and in implementation of corrective actions
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Machine Tool Technology degree with five to ten years of manufacturing experience in the machining field along with experience developing programs for CNC mills and lathes.
• Working knowledge of machining processes and practices
• Working knowledge of Mastercam software
• Understanding of dimensional inspection and GD&T requirements
• Ability to read, interpret and develop NC milling programs from blueprints
• Prior machine installation and start-up a plus
• Prior experience with Fanuc controls a plus
• Prior experience with Catia a plus
