Located in South Gate, California, Shultz Steel operates the most modern vertically integrated forging facility in the aerospace industry. Shultz Steel offers a wide range of impression forgings, including some of the largest and most complex available - and they have an unsurpassed line of open die forgings. Shultz Steel is capable of producing seamless rolled rings up to 26 feet in diameter. The operation uses all major alloys including titanium, vacuum melt high strength and stainless steels, nickel and cobalt; and aluminum (rings only).
Closely monitor material, conversion, and schedule status and serve as the key liaison between customers and the Company.
Upon receipt of request for quotation, analyzes data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized bid sheet.
Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes including but not limited to planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.
Verifies formal purchase orders and monitors change order for compliance, and when needed, issues internal amendments.
Generates and maintains meticulous records of assigned customer’s open orders.
Performs, when instructed by management, primary negotiations with customers on price
and/or delivery of products.
Other duties as assigned.

Prior Aerospace and or Manufacturing background preferred.
