Maintenance Technician - Off-shift

The Douglas facility is located in south central Georgia approximately 65 miles north of the Florida state line. Douglas is centrally located between Macon, GA and Jacksonville, FL; approximately two hours drive from either city. Valdosta, GA is about one hour’s drive away. Golf, tennis, fishing and hunting are popular outdoor activities.
Executes the assigned duties as necessary to support all technical issues required to resolve machinery maintenance and other requirements.

Takes primary responsibility for all application issues and supports the department with technical related skills.
 Reports to management all observed technical issues and problems experienced and perceived action required to resolve these matters.
 Must have an excellent knowledge of industrial maintenance.
 Must have extensive mechanical background or extensive electrical/electronics background to include PLC’s.
 Must be able to interpret predictive maintenance data and make recommendations for corrective actions.
 Must be able to work with minimal supervision, make cost effective and time saving decisions.
 Must possess superior trouble-shooting skills.
High school education required. Prefer 2 years of technical education in an engineering-related field.
5+ years experience in industrial maintenance.
Industrial Maintenance experience.
Good multi-tasking skills.
