Job Description:

Provide Leadership to all assigned employees in scheduling, training, communication and teamwork.  Meet company standards for Quality and Quantity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction and training in all finishing operations.
  • Provide feedback to employees regarding daily goal metrics.
  • Read, Interpret and complete all necessary paperwork, including issues with routers, including fixing issues utilizing CQCS.
  • Communicate with Supervisors/Managers to work out issues in order to assure that a satisfactory product is produced in an efficient manner
  • Perform quality checks
  • Troubleshoot and make recommendations to Supervisor/Manager for revisions to current procedures
  • Pitch-in and hands on assist throughout department when necessary
  • Administer company policies and manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, and assure compliance with all safety rules
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to learn and perform new assignments as directed, accept leadership to perform in a self-directed environment and work with minimal supervision
  • Capable of functioning in a team oriented department
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed
  • Ability to change direction easily and multi-task when necessary
  • Finishing experience is necessary
