Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, apart of the Engineered Products Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.
Level 2 Laboratory Technicians will be expected to understand chemical concepts and processing principles of chemical solutions used in this organization’s facility. Level 2 Laboratory Technicians shall be fully familiarized with the set up and conducting of chemical experiments, tests, and analyses, using techniques such as spectroscopy, physical or chemical separation techniques, and titrimetric. From recorded data of tests performed, laboratory technicians at this level shall be able to prepare technical reports, graphs, or charts, and be able to recognize trends in data so that preventative measures and actions can be applied. Additionally, Level 2 Laboratory Technicians will be expected to perform calibration verification and standardization of the test instruments and equipment, process solution formulization and preparation of chemical solutions for products or processes, and following proper disposal practices of chemical solutions. Candidates must be self-disciplined and self-motivated individuals with strong accountability (attention to details) skills
  • Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. 

  • Operates manual or automatic assembly machines to assemble, bump, crimp, knurl, slot, insert, stamp, groove cut, etc. or resize or re-work parts to specifications 

  • Operates support machines such as arbor, drill press, cutters, rollers etc. as well as various hand tools such as pliers, wrenches 

  • Check parts for dimensional accuracy use both touch and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers 

  • Provides necessary counts and processes documentation accurately. Maintains production logs

  • Must be able to work 2nd shift and weekends as needed

  • Full CMM setup and operation 

  • Intermediate proficiency in print reading and digital model manipulation 

  • Advanced competencies in mechanical inspection techniques 

  • Computer proficiency in required software (MS Suite, CATIA, PC-DMIS, etc.)
