Position Summary:

The Labor Pool Employee is a versatile role within the manufacturing facility, responsible for providing flexible support across various departments and functions as needed. This position entails performing diverse tasks to maintain smooth operations and meet production goals. The role demands adaptability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to swiftly learn and execute different tasks.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing various tasks on the production floor such as assembly, machine operation, packaging, and quality control.
  • Operating machinery and equipment following safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to meet production goals.
  • Collaborating with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Adhering to quality standards and conducting basic quality checks on products.
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts or departments as needed within the manufacturing labor pool.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close\distance\color\peripheral\depth vision and ability to adjust focus as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and responsibilities within the manufacturing labor pool.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Flexibility in work schedule and willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures regarding attendance, conduct, and workplace standards.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
