HOURLY PAY RATE:  $25.00 - $33.00

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make PCC a safe work environment.
•    Achieve team production and efficiency goals by working to meet all operational and quality standards to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
•    Perform diversified duties to install, repair, maintain and service plant mechanical equipment.  Coordinate with Electricians to accomplish various projects.
•    Install level and align plant machinery; connect mechanical piping controls and gauges; perform necessary plumbing.  Perform a variety of welding, brazing, cutting and soldering operations.  
•    Perform ordinary carpentry work.  Be competent in general sheet metal work; perform complex duct system erections; perform insulation work on ducts and pipes.
•    Have a working knowledge of all plant equipment including pumps, burners, fans, bearings, bushings, gear boxes, air cylinders, dust collectors, vacuum pumps, compressors, waterblast equipment, and pneumatic controls.  
•    Have a working knowledge of refrigeration, machinery controls and air conditioners.
•    Be able to install, maintain and repair ordinary lighting, power circuits and simple control systems.  Assist Electricians in more complex electrical projects.
•    Operate ordinary machine tools; use common precision measuring equipment.  Perform all phases of maintenance using a good general knowledge of various crafts and trades.  Be available and willing to perform off-hours and overtime work.
•    Follow prescribed safety regulations; understand and be able to carry out National Electric Code, OSHA regulations and insurance recommendations.  Maintain work areas and equipment in a safe and clean condition.
•    Act as Hazmat Responder

Experience and Education:
•    A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but may be substituted by manufacturing experience.
•    One year of manufacturing experience preferred, previous experience in the casting industry is a plus. 

Requirements:

•    Understanding of basic math calculations.
•    Ability to use precision measuring instruments, test equipment or other devices where interpretation is required.  
•    Ability to perform duties in manufacturing environment which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.  Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
