Summary Provide the primary planning and scheduling function for the Special Metals Corporation ingot, billet and bar product lines resulting in the timely and efficient manufacture of these products. Individual must be able to work in and react to changing priorities in a high pressure environment. Individual must have an organized, systematic approach to problem solving. The position will also provide secondary support for the Traffic department to support shipment schedules.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of SMC manufacturing operations and capabilities Proficiency in Oracle Applications Business System Use of Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office for performance of daily activities Create Discrete Jobs to satisfy Sales Order demand requirements Issue releases for reapplication of existing inventory for sale Manage Bar Product Line rolling schedules Issue requisitions for outside processing requirements

Qualifications Education and Experience Minimum Associates degree in Applied Science or related field required, At least three years of relevant experience required. Manufacturing environment preferred. Special Skills · Computer literacy is a requirement. · Ability to interface with any person in the organization. · Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical. · Reliable attendance and good communication skills are essential. · Ability to work in a high pressure environment.
