OPERATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

JOB TITLE:                          ROBOT OPERATOR         

 

DEPARTMENT:                  CERAMICS

                       

 

 

JOB FUNCTION:

 

Run a robot and produce quality parts.

 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Learn to follow and comprehend the Wonder Ware programs.

 

  1. Requires lifting up to 30 lbs. repeatedly.

 

  1. Be a Team Player.

 

  1. Assist and support the 6S program.

 

  1. You need to be able to plan dip times to give product to the customer in a timely manner.

 

  1. You will be required to insure quality parts.

 

  1. To be able to check your slurries and record them on the SPC computer.

 

  1. You will be required to learn all cells and be willing to move to any cell required to, in order to receive top pay, as well as use the Teach pennants.

 

EDUCATION:

 

High school education.

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

Three months OJT training.

 

 

INITIATIVE AND INGENUITY:

 

Normal initiative and ingenuity.

 

 

EFFORT:

 

Lift/move from 20-30 pounds up to 12 times per hour.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Responsible for self.  Make sure parts meet quality standards.  Follow all safety rules.  Must be willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary.

 

 

JOB CONDITIONS:

 

Good working conditions.

Dusty, dirty, walking up a lot of steps repetitively thru the day.

Very physical and mental.
