The Communications Specialist provides a full range support of communication projects, including internal and external branding and communication, to positively influence PCC’s employer brand perception and enhance PCC’s social brand.  This role will primarily lead communications projects and graphic design under the direction of the Corporate Director, Communications.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communications project management
  • Creates content/literature, including graphic design, for internal and external communications
  • Collaborates with internal function team (HR, Quality, EHS, etc.) on communications materials
  • Assists with managing and executing internal PCC conferences
  • May perform other duties as assigned

 Required Skills

  • Must possess strong communication skills and professionalism with individuals inside and outside the organization
  • Must have the ability to work independently and achieve individual/team goals
  • Must have strong computer and graphic design skills
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time

 Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline
  • 2-4 years of communications or marketing experience
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator/InDesign
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to PCC facilities or conferences/events.
