Position Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate receiving, logistics, inventory management, and distribution of product. Review and maintain receiving/staging paperwork to ensure accuracy. Supervises, directs, trains, and coaches all department employees in the day-to-day operations of the shipping/receiving department.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicates, coordinates, delegates daily activity to meet goals and objectives of the organization
  • Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming shipments, handling of products, and organization of warehouse inventory.
  • Ensure operational excellence through all phases of internal material movement and storage.
  • Reviews daily production reports to determine workload capacity, assignments, and requirements to complete organizational requirements
  • Own all aspects of warehousing and material management including transactional quality and inventory accuracy.
  • Maintains and reports on receiving/staging/logistics metrics.
  • Conduct continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and decrease costs associated with material movement and storage
  • Assists in training new employees and cross-training current employees.
  • Performs other duties as directed by the manager.

Required Skills:

  • Logistics experience.
  • Outstanding problem solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Effective organization skills, with ability to complete assignments on time as directed.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with minimal errors, mistakes, and omissions.
  • Required weekend work at the end of every month and quarter.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ‘can do’ drive and attitude.
