Position Summary:
Under the guidance and direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Supervisor performs an array of functions such as qualify and validate processes to ensure compliance to written protocols and regulatory requirements; observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides inspection activity in coordination with production, purchasing and shipping to maximize product reliability and minimize cost throughout the production cycle.
  • Provides reporting of statistical data in support of all CHI programs.
  • Formulates and maintains quality assurance training criteria/schedules and quality objectives that compliment procedures and work instructions.
  • Instructs inspectors engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure proper receiving, of time sensitive materials, customer supplied product, tooling and facility product.
  • Investigates and follows up on root cause and corrective action required on CAR activity wherein Q.A. failed to detect associate non-conformances and or customer complaints.
  • Reviews and corrects hourly personnel time sheets for payroll in a timely manner.
  • Identifies proper inspection equipment and methods for inspection.
  • Performs customer interface responsibilities for Q.A. related issues.
  • Assumes Management responsibilities for all Audit Activity.
  • Assigns Inspectors to daily Inspection Activities.
  • Backs up any or all of responsible Inspection Personnel in performing the Inspection Function.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced Math capabilities
  • Must be fluent in English for reading and writing
  • Blueprint reading
  • Use of micro-measuring equipment
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, OR a combination of 5 years of related experience and education including 2-3 years in a supervisor role.

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, OR a combination of 5 years of related experience and education including 2-3 years in a supervisor role.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
