Core member of the Integrated Development Team, focused on developing and integrating multi-disciplinary advanced technologies in support of the Company’s manufacturing Center of Excellence (COE).  Develops, performs and implements technical planning, system integration, validation & verification test planning, cost & risk analysis, automation & Industry 4.0 development, quality strategy and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).  Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of project/customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, risk and cost constraints.  This position will contribute to developing and implementing strategies, policies, processes, standards and systems for the growth of the systems engineering function to support future Company objectives.

Will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for leading MBSE function, inducing the development of architecture and systems interface documentation, ensuring requirements capture and traceability, using MBSE to develop and de-risk subsystem integration and validation/verification testing.  Additionally, will serve as a key resource in the development and implementation of the Company’s Zero Defect and Advanced Product Quality Planning tools into automated manufacturing and quality assurance for flight-critical aerospace components. 

Responsibilities will also include serving as a Track Lead (functional/technical leader and Subject Matter Expert) for digital thread integration, including (not limited to) MRP & MES systems to transform, standardize and digitize business processes for the COE facility


• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline preferred.
o Equivalent and relevant work experience may be considered.

• Effective communication skills; able to clearly convey technical concepts verbally and in writing to a broad audience.

• 10+ years of professional experience working in manufacturing organizations preferred.
This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as they will be in constant communication with customers, suppliers, business leaders, and team members to include the ERP team (Core team/Functional Leads, implementation team, technical consultants and their project leaders).
