SUMMARY
Responsible for directing the Company’s accounting functions. Specific areas include the development and maintenance of planning and budgeting systems, analysis and interpretation of trends requiring senior management attention, preparation of financial and management reports, and the presentation of findings and recommendations to senior management.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work safely. Adhere to all Company and regulatory EH&S and 6S policies and procedures.

Develop, train and manage a team of 2-4 direct reports and 8-10 indirect reports (Finance)

Assures accounting period is properly closed, including closure of general ledger, reconciliation of sub ledgers to the general ledger, calculation and review of accounting estimates and reserves, and accurate preparation/approval of posted manual journal entries.

Prepares, analyzes, distributes, and transmits various financial reports for PCC Corporate and internal reporting purposes at financial period end, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement, budget/forecast to actuals, month end Controllers check list, Corporate financial report package, quarterly review package, and quarterly representation letter.

Oversees the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process. Completes C-M and PCC Corporate budget models and submits for approval.

Projects fixed and variable costs for material labor and overhead.

Works with Sales and Marketing to review sales backlog and estimate sales for periodic forecasting purposes. Secures sales projections for annual budget.

Reviews and updates projected costs for periodic budgeting.

Acts as controller of the treasury and cash management process.

Maintains authorization limits and signature authority as approved by PCC Corp Treasury office.

Approves foreign currency and hedging transactions.

Evaluates contracts for embedded derivatives.

Reviews bad debt reserves and approves bad debt write offs.

Analyzes material, labor, and overhead cost data to establish and maintain standard cost system within ERP system.

Oversees cycle count initiation and reconciliation process.

Active participation in daily/weekly meetings reviewing overall operations performance.

Develops and presents annual financial operating plan.

Develops, interprets, and presents financial operating results: monthly, quarterly, or as otherwise needed.

Aids in formulating and administering corporate policy.

Helps manage A/R and A/P to target levels.

Prepares financial payback for capital projects.

Assists auditors during audit process.

Oversees periodic cycle count inventory activities.

Support Sarbanes-Oxley Reporting including review segregation of duties, business narratives and mitigating controls.

Other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:

Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study, and a minimum of ten (10) years combined experience in both general and cost accounting fields.

Experience with managing direct reports.

Experience with standard cost accounting.


PREFERRED:

Syteline experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk or sit. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as printer, scanner, calculator and copy machine. occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
The typical work environment is a standard office setting / office contained in a manufacturing setting. The employee is occasionally required to perform work in a manufacturing setting, occasional exposure to high noise level.
