As a Quality Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to initiate and execute audits, work with a cross functional team, and guide the Company to excellent quality standards:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance to all regulatory and standard requirements.
- Conduct and manage internal and external audits including AS9100.
- Maintain quality documents and approved supplier list.
- Manage customer quality surveys. Under general supervision establish and maintain quality systems and compliance program, procedures, and controls to ensure that the performance and quality of product confirms to the established processes and procedures.
- Perform supplier management activities including quality management system audits, periodic reviews of quality and delivery performance data.
- Perform internal audits of manufacturing processes and lead/facilitate implementation of corrective action
- Ensure manufacturing work instructions are accurate and accessible
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified AS9100 lead auditor
- Possess the ability to work autonomous on specific compliance or quality system projects with accelerated timelines
- Critical thinker, detailed oriented, while overseeing multiple tasks for several projects
- Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication and written skills
- 3+ years of internal and external auditing experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience providing project support to senior management
- Experience leading internal and external audits
- Knowledge of manufacturing process, statistical techniques, and validation
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Bachelor degree in related field
