Description of duties

Prepare, audit and process time calculations for conversion into payroll for TIMET employees. Assists with personnel scheduling. Ensures the integrity of related HR systems through audits, testing and maintenance of system data.  

  • Produce various reports as needed.
  • Process adjustment check requests and coordinate process with Payroll personnel.
  • Supply information for employee employment verifications to internal and external customers.
  • Trains in other HR roles to gain sufficient knowledge to perform in backup capacity.
  • Participates in other Human Resources initiatives as required to development additional skill in HR practices.
  • Additional Clerical support to Human Resources Department as required.
  • Prepare wage verification.
  • Maintains employee files organized.
  • Participates in the recruitment process for hourly and salaried roles.

Education & Experience

Enrolled in a 4-year Business Administration and Management, Human Resources, Retail & Hospitality, Psychology program.

  • Must be able to commit to 6 months or the duration of the summer a Fall extension is available. OR if Part-time desired must commit to 11 months Co-Op.
  • Must be able to reliably commute or relocate.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 35 pounds if needed.
  • Must be able to think quickly and take action.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of related engineering discipline functional and technical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Access)
  • Strong writing skills and interpersonal skills
  • Critical problem analysis, decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in an environment where business and team needs may change.
