Operations Management Development Program

Position summary

Precision Castparts Corp.’s Development Programs are Powering the Future by taking the emergent talent through a high velocity program complete with learning experiences and opportunities to prepare you for leadership in operations management within our manufacturing facilities.   This program is specifically designed for graduating seniors and/or recent graduates in a technical field/operations field. This position is in various U.S. locations.

Program Design

• First year members will be placed at one of our PCC facilities spending the first six months in a technical role (i.e. Product Engineer, Quality Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer) and move into a supervisory role in the next six months.
• Second year members will be placed at another PCC location doing a similar sequence of rotations (six months technical, six months supervisory).

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.
• Prior co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing environment
• Club, organization or activity involvement in a leadership capacity
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of interest in management, operations roles
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must be willing to relocate (program roles located in various US locations only)

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful application must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Political Asylees and Refugees. 

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $74,900 to $74,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is not eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
