Position Summary:

Level Two: Level Two: Level two material handlers/inventory control operators are able to work independently in several different inventory control functions (raw material, receiving, finished goods, hardware, shop moves). They are able to navigate the MRP system to perform a variety of tasks (issuing material to work orders, research material transactions to solve problems, look at planning detail to understand future demand for inventory). Typically 1-2 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
  • Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Correctly interpret work orders
  • Lift up to 45lbs
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
  • Create work orders and prepare kits for production
  • Preform advanced system transactions (trouble shooting/problem solving)
  • Inventory control (cycle counting, managing locations, organizing inventory etc.)
  • Drives area goals and productivity (set work priority, drive C.I.)
  • Basic OSP vendor management
  • Perform advanced inspection tasks (visual, weight counting, etc.)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

 

Required Skills:

  • The ability to read and write English.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Trouble shooting/problem solving
  • The ability to read and interpret work instructions

 Experience & Education

  • Typically 1-2 Years
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
