The IT Manager will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to identify and provide effective and efficient technology solutions to meet business needs and add maximum value to the organization.  Working with site and Division Leadership, the IT Manager will have primary responsibility for creating a strategic vision and plan for the technology at the business unit. They will also build and oversee the IT department, managing the technology systems and services through a blended team of employees and third-party service providers, and ensuring that cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity plans and provisions are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, maintaining, communicating, and implementing long- and short-term plans for the Information Technology function at a site level, including infrastructure, operations, business applications and data management.
  • Providing technology expertise and guidance to the senior leadership team.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams across the organization to understand business needs and identify suitable technology solutions to meet those needs.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of end user business needs.
  • Selecting, implementing, and supporting technology systems and solutions to address identified needs.
  • Leading the IT team, including recruiting, motivating, developing, and managing highly talented and effective talent for a growing team.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and forge alliances with outside partners that create strong business solutions.
  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the IT function to a high degree of quality and user satisfaction.
  • Managing an IT Governance process to guide IT projects according to business priorities.
  • Developing and managing the IT capital and operating budget.
  • Selecting and managing external vendors providing IT services (including an MSP providing service desk support).
  • Overseeing the testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.
  • Key participant in the corporate cyber security program.
  • IT Project Management
  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications/Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology field or equivalent combinations of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities have been acquired.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years relevant work experience, to include supervision.
  • Strong VMWare experience managing clusters and SAN devices.
  • MS SQL DBA and TSQL experience in a similar capacity.
  • Managing an ERP system, ERP implementation experience preferred.
  • Experience as the most senior IT leader in a mid-sized organization.
  • Deep understanding of IT system implementations, including human elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically and seamlessly switch between the two.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong business customer orientation.
  • Familiarity with IT Governance processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively to people with varying levels of technology understandings and backgrounds.
  • Comfort with defining and using business outcome metrics to gauge success of projects.
  • Self-directed, highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment based on changing business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment across multiple departments

Relocation is authorized for this position.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $75000 to $110000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
