This is for night shift. Start time is 4:30pm to 2:30am,
10 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Training will be on days for 2-3 months, 6am to 4:30pm.
Level two inspectors work from blueprints, digital models and customer specifications to identify and separate non-conforming product. Products quality inspectors will work with include machined parts, mechanical assemblies, processed parts and purchased standard hardware. These individuals will utilize a more advanced knowledge of GD&T methods and common inspection measuring equipment than level one inspectors. These individuals may also be required to have a basic knowledge of and ability to operate Coordinate Measuring Machines/Scanners as necessary to complete assignments. They will also receive an introduction to AS9102 processes. Level two inspectors may also be expected to demonstrate proficiency in manipulating digital models in CATIA. Level two inspectors typically work as receiving inspectors, final inspectors or entry-level CMM inspectors. This position typically requires 2-3 years of experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- With assistance, perform in process and completed inspections for machined, purchased or assembled product.
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines/Scanners as needed
Required Skills:
- Intermediate proficiency in shop math and GD&T comprehension and application.
- Intermediate print reading and application.
- Basic knowledge of ASME 14.5
- Basic knowledge of AS9102
Required Experience:
- Typically 2-3 years of experience
Level of Education:
- GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.
