Shift: 6pm Start time Monday thru Friday with opportunity for OT. 


The Material Handler will be responsible for the setup of mill fixtures on Numerically Controlled Milling Machines. Working closely with Machine Operators and Manufacturing support personnel they will properly affix, align and otherwise “load” mill fixtures onto machine tables. They will additionally be responsible for “loading” material, forgings, and partially machined work pieces onto these mill fixtures in accordance with setup instructions.

Essential Functions
The following is a list of duties, tasks, work activities and/or functions the Material Handler will/may be required to perform:

Prepare machine tables for the placement of mill fixtures.

Prepare mill fixtures for placement onto prepared machine tables.

Perform minor maintenance to mill fixtures (apply oil as preservative, repair threads using thread die, stone scarred surfaces, etc.

Operate overhead cranes

Select and use the appropriate slings or other lifting devices (shackles, eye bolts, etc.) for use when applying mill fixtures or parts to machine tables.

Operate milling machines when necessary to support setup functions.

Select and apply appropriate clamps, bolts, vacuum supplying pumps, etc.

Remove and replace parts from mill fixtures

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $18.50 to $18.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
