RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily computer transactions to maintain production, inventory and accounting records.
- Coordinate and issue alloy ingots to the foundry per daily schedule.
- Manage daily inventory and order alloy ingots to meet the planned foundry schedule.
- Manage the qualification of each new master heat (chemical and mechanical testing).
- Mange vendor master heat testing, verify compliance and issue certifications to customer specifications.
- Perform physical alloy inventories as needed.
- Collect revert from various locations in the facility, process, sort and segregate.
- Maintain alloy and revert storage in terms of segregation/organization and general cleanliness of the area.
- Cut and weld ingots as needed.
- Maintain master heat database for production and engineering special lots.
- Work safely and follow all procedures. Ask for clarification if uncertain.
- Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret data with critical thinking.
- Must be well organized and able to self-direct daily activities.
- Must have basic computer skills; Microsoft Office products preferred.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. Must be able to use powered industrial equipment for moving heavier objects.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Welding (TIG) skills desired
- Must have flexibility in working hours. Required to work a minimum of one weekend per month (Sat and Sun).
