PCC Airfoils LLC has achieved its preeminent position in the manufacture of aircraft engine blades and vanes and is rapidly gaining market share in the Industrial Gas Turbines industry through pushing the boundaries of Advanced Technology. Inspect, test, sort parts for defects, and deviations from specifications. May use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
  • Incumbent must handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and company policy. 
  • Read and interpret indications and evaluate them per applicable documents, standards and specifications.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Understand practical theory and be familiar with and able to use manuals and source books for assistance in utilizing techniques.
  • Accustomed to the type and location of expected defects for the fabrication process used to make the parts.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Direct and carry out tests.
  • Be capable of techniques and inspection method documents.
  • Establish product is properly processed to the applicable method sheets.
  • Keep area clean and adhere to safety procedures.
  • Meet efficiency standards.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by department supervisor and/or Level III.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.
Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting experience is a plus. Level I certification completed. Level II certification desirable (preference will be given to applicants who currently hold a Level II certification).
  • Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity. 
  • Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record. 
  • Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. 
  • Have strong sense of urgency. 
  • Individual must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, may be substituted with experience.
