POSITION SUMMARY
• Responsible for identifying and purchasing Nickel and Cobalt revert (scrap) in the US and Canada 
for PCC Melt shops.
• Strong focus on relationship building in pursuing new sources of material with key strategic 
partners.
• Self-manage and work as a part of the commercial team. Support is available from senior managers and directors for complex pitches and strategies.
• The Metal Buyer is expected to spend up to 50% of their time out of the office in meetings. 
Travel is a major factor and is predicted to be predominately within the US and Canada. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Business Development (60% of job time):
• Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new sources of revert for the PCC 
Revert Group (PCCRG).
• Target and build relationships with key external generators in the Aerospace, Oil and Gas, 
Medical, and other super alloy revert producing industries that can be supported with PCCRG 
current operational footprint.
• Targeting enhanced engagement with mid-tier revert dealers to increase their sales to us at the 
expense of PCCRG competitors.
• Attend trade shows.
• Present and represent PCCRG to potential suppliers through direct communication via face-toface meetings, telephone calls, and emails.
• Conduct negotiations and close on behalf of the PCCRG.
Maintaining Existing Accounts (30% of job time):
• Maintaining & looking for opportunities to further develop the business relationships PCCRG has 
with existing customers.
• Coordinate with other PCCRG departments including accounts and technical teams to ensure 
delivery of service commitments and promises to suppliers.
• Respond effectively to requests for quotes in a timely manner
• Ensure that PCCRG remains proactive and responsive to suppliers
 Job Description
Member of Team Forecasting, Planning and Strategizing Future Business Development (10% of job time):
• Operating as a proactive member of the PCCRG commercial team, influencing the strategic 
direction of the business with academic and practical knowledge of the commodity markets and 
international trading arenas.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Sales, Marketing or Business.
• Minimum of 3 or more years related experience in sales territory or account management with 
demonstrated achievements.
• Two years’ experience in purchasing revert (scrap) – Strongly preferred.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $85000 to $90000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
