PURPOSE:

The MRB Coordinator will provide direct support to immediate manufacturing Quality Assurance and Control needs.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Comply with and support PCC Code of Conduct Requirements and Company policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State and Local regulations.
  • Comply with and support AS9100, SOX requirements and all PCC Cardinal Rules, including EHS and Quality.
  • Safely Operates Forklift to move and organize product in production area (50% of role)
  • Conduct Nonconforming Material Review and disposition
  • Product nonconformance analysis and corrective/preventative action coordination and execution
  • System/Process based corrective/preventative action
  • Review CARs for viability, completion and effectiveness measurements 
  • Validate Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests for product with dimensional issues
  • Process all valid RMAs
  • Assist in the continuous improvement projects for chronic nonconformance issues
  • Work with suppliers on continuous improvement activities
  • Issue Vendor Debits for scrap produced by at fault suppliers
  • Generate Daily and Weekly Reports reporting MRB activity to management
  • Generate Monthly Supplier Scorecards
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Operate Forklift for MRB product transportation 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred but will commensurate with experience), Process/Continuous Improvement (preferred)
  • Knowledgeable of aerospace Customer and AS9100D requirements
  • Experience with 8D Analysis and other Root Cause analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and process skills, demonstrating ability to resolve problems
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, ability to work well with others and high attention to detail
  • Able to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks
  • Team Player and ability to support a 24/7 operation.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient knowledge with use of MS Excel, MS Work, MS PowerPoint 

Note:  This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19 to $29 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
