The Quality Assurance Technician reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Supports the creation and maintenance of quality documents. Responsibilities include document control, quality records management, and audit support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: of the successful candidate for this position include but are not limited to the following:

•    Assist with non-destructive testing technique card development and standardization.
•    Assist with process data collection and resolving process issues in manufacturing.
•    Participate as a quality stakeholder in casting process improvement projects.
•    Participate in quality management system procedure reviews and revisions.
•    Provide technical and administrative support for document control.
•    Support to issue and solve internal corrective measures report.
•    Ensure current product quality specification fulfill client’s requirements.
•    Support quality management systems operation within organization.
•    Provide support for design, execution and maintenance of quality system processes at respective departments.
•    Help department to coordinate training to operating procedure changes or new system implementation.
•    Ensure operating procedures are of use to end users.
•    Comply all activities with corporate policies as well as departmental procedures to reduce risk and losses.
•    Express and explain safety value at all job functions.
•    Ensure program activities are compliant with applicable government regulations and company quality assurance standards.
•    Interact with superiors, team members and related people.
•    Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

•    Experience and/or training are included in considerations.
•    Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, read, follow and interpret instructions on technique cards, code sheets as well as other verbal or written instructions.
•    Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
•    Ability to use simple to moderately complex measuring devices and fixtures.
•    Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.

•    Proficient in MS Office Suite; MRP/ERP systems; document control systems

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $26.00 to $39.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
