This position is responsible for performing the final Quality review on all products shipping against customer or TIMET Service Center orders from the Toronto manufacturing facility. This position creates the final Certificate of Conformance, which assures the customer that all aspects of their Purchase Order, specification and quality requirements have been complied with.
Quality Assurance Review of Customer Order Requirements and TIMET documentation:
Review and approve Basis/Order Specifications specific to customer order test requirements.
Review manufacturing and testing process documentation to ensure that TIMET has met all the customer and regulatory requirements of the Customer Purchase Order.
Review laboratory test/ultrasonic reports for approvals and compliance.
Required to attend production daily scheduled meetings and act as a liaison to the Certification department.
Generate and Sign Certificates of Conformance:
Create and maintain Compliance Statements/Order Specs in LIMS/STAR.
Create and maintain Certification Masters in LIMS.
Prepare and sign Certificates of Compliance.
Timely response to customer inquiries relating to product re-certification. Maintain re-cert request log.
Required to achieve and maintain various “Supplier Quality Representative” approvals necessary for certain customer’s certifications.
Maintain First Time Pass Log (FTP) in MS Access Database.
Two year Associates degree, or Two years experience in an industrial manufacturing facility, preferably in a laboratory or quality assurance/product certification role.
Proof of US citizenship, nationality, and/or permanent resident status in order to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations.
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers (internal and external), employees and management.
Requires individual to be highly detail oriented and meticulous.
Requires adjustable/flexible work schedule to meet customer product demands.
Requires enthusiasm, drive and excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable working with computers and various computer programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Requires ability to read, interpret and match specification and Customer Purchase Order requirements with TIMET product documentation and testing.
General familiarity of lab testing and Titanium processing is beneficial.
Relocation is authorized for this position.
