PCC Structurals is the world leader in superalloy, aluminum and titanium investment casting.  With applications in jet aircraft engines, airframes, industrial gas turbine (IGT) engines, military armaments, medical prosthesis, and many other industrial markets, we provide a wide portfolio  of high-quality components, some as large as 100 inches (250cm).

 PCC Structurals also provides solidification modeling, in-house rapid prototyping (including SLA), digital radiography, hot isostatic pressing, precision machining and protective coating services. We operate 11 manufacturing facilities in the United States and Europe.

Located in Clackamas, Oregon, PCC Small Structures Business Operations (SSBO) specializes in air and Vacuum Investment Cast Components for Aerospace, Energy, and Commercial Applications. Our robust engineering team, in-house prototyping capability, and 197,000 square feet of manufacturing space make it the ideal facility to bring your development program into production.
Responsible for the safe manufacture of products which may represent a broad diversity of manufacturing processes. Responsible for satisfying all quality and productivity requirements in a most cost effective manner. May supervises multiple functions and/or shifts typically but not exclusively through shift/department leads. 

Ensures that all employees work in a safe manner and that employees are properly trained in all safety procedures. Ensures that good housekeeping practices are consistently followed.

Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.

Responsible for adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions.

Plans, organizes and supervises shift operations in accordance with production schedules and requirements in the most cost effective manner. Responsible for process control in area of responsibility. Maintains awareness of policies and procedures and assures compliance by assigned employees.


Ensures that thru-put and target earned hours are attained and budget criteria is met or exceeded.


Works with employees to effectively resolve work place issues, gives necessary feedback on employee performance. Conducts formal performance appraisals and recommends/approves pay increases, transfers and promotions in accordance with company policy and procedures and state and federal laws.


Interviews and hires (recommends for hire) employees.


Develops, trains, and involves employees in maintaining and improving departmental efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, cooperation and morale.


Maintains adequate staffing to meet required production schedules.


Assists with and provides input for annual budget for areas of responsibility. Thereafter, adheres to budget plans. Meets monthly budgets.

Minimum High school diploma or GED and college level courses or equivalent training in manufacturing, engineering, accounting, mathematics and statistics or equivalent experience required. Bachelors in Engineering or Business preferred.

5 years experience in a leadership role in manufacturing.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Requires that the incumbent be organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills or the ability to develop the skills required.

Excellent computer skills, particularly in spreadsheet; financial; inventory and production planning and tracking applications.

Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans.

Knowledge of safety protocols for manufacturing 

Knowledge of LEAN principles and 6S
