SUMMARY
This position is responsible for generating technical content (work instructions, procedures, training content) through facilitation of discussion with subject matter experts, management of the content to ensure it is relevant, and maintaining/enhancing document control/training content management systems. The position will also support, generate and advise on brand guidelines, logo utilization, and marketing material. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Work safely and comply with all company and regulatory safety requirements. 
•    Maintain and enhance Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and other documents as necessary to meet changing manufacturing and customer demands. 
•    Create and/or revise documents, work instructions, training modules, etc. to a standard format and content. 
•    Create, implement, and maintain controlled document system and over arching strategy. Identify and scope projects to enhance document control system. 
•    Identify and scope projects to enhance training content delivery platforms. 
•    Evaluate the effectiveness of documentation through verification audits, job audits, and make changes as required to meet objectives. 
•    Scope, capture and edit video content for training, business review meetings and promotional projects. 
•    Assist with the oversight of employee training records. 
•    Identify, scope and support system enhancements for electronic training records. 
•    Provides training on document control and training content management systems. 
•    Administers and manages approval workflows from controlled documents. 
•    Participate in the specification review process, including reviewing current standards, resources, and communication for customer acceptance. 
•    Partners with Manufacturing, Commercial and Technical departments to deliver professional, accurate documents as necessary.
•    Design and distribute company branded materials, publications, and marketing materials. 
•    Plans and participates in Quality Audits as required.
•    Assists in the execution of C-M’s Quality Management System. 
•    Partner with Department Managers / Supervisors to update company documents and train on how to use company databases and systems.
•    Assist with technical document generation/technical marketing material for tradeshows. 
•    Other duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
•    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Technical Writing, or similar degree
•    Yrs Experience: 5+ years in content generation 
•    Preferred: 3+ years of technical content generation/technical writing related to manufacturing processes, knowledge of ISO9001, AS-9100 and NadCap requirements. 

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
•    Strong Project Management skills
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•    Experience in implementation or maintenance of document control system 
•    Experience in implementation or maintenance of learning management system (LMS)
•    Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and/or other related software
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with personnel at all organizational levels. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk or sit; regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. 


WORK ENVIRONMENT 
The typical work environment is a standard office setting / office contained in a manufacturing setting.  The employee is occasionally required to perform work in a manufacturing setting, occasional exposure high noise level and heat.
