Position Summary:

Maintenance Tech-Level One – working under supervision from a mechanic lead or master mechanic will perform basic duties such as draining fluids, changing belts, and miscellaneous general maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on manual and NC machines, forming machines, and welding equipment while demonstrating the ability to properly use basic mechanical hand and power tools. Level one Maintenance Tech’s will be responsible for general facilities maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and welding.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery under direct supervision.
  • Perform basic machine troubleshooting.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and welding tasks.
  • Show a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude.
  • Efficiently and effectively follow instructions and work directions.
  • Use basic mechanical hand and power tools properly and safely.
  • Engage in additional training and development activities as required to enhance skills and competencies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong mechanical inclination, preferably with experience as a mechanic or in similar roles.
  • Knowledge and prior experience working with plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and general facility maintenance.
  • A teamwork-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to lift to 35lbs.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months of service in machine repair or a related field.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, welding, and general maintenance is preferred.
  • A track record of pursuing additional training or certifications in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related fields.

Level of Education:

  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $20.00 to $26.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
