This position reports to the Quality Manager. The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting, improving, and enforcing the quality system at PB Fasteners. Primary responsibility is to perform specification and regulatory reviews, routing revision changes to the appropriate parties for review, and supporting any necessary internal changes to maintain compliance.  This position will support all functions of the Quality Team, results reporting, customer source inspections, NDT technique writing, internal product and process audits, and supporting external customer and regulatory audits.

 Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and programs required
  • Previous manufacturing experience highly desired
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in English
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

 Responsibilities/Job Duties:

Support Quality Systems including:

  • Internal auditing under the direction of Quality Management
  • Support Customer audit activates including checklist completion 
  • Verification of customer and regulatory requirements and specification revisions
  • Support the development and completion of improvement projects 
  • Support and maintenance and improvement of documentation including operating procedures and internal testing results 
  • Provides administrative support to other departments throughout the facility, including but no limited to: Source inspection, NDT testing, and the metallurgical lab. 
  • Perform customer product audits 
  • Familiarity with AS9102
  • Any other tasks or duties as assigned.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $23.25 to $34.75 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors.  For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
