Permaswage, A PCC Company is looking for a full time ERP Business Analyst to support existing and future development and integration of its various ERP platforms (Epicor, JDE, SyteLine). The right candidate will have a technical background, excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, interfacing with users and learning business processes, and the ability to foster outstanding teamwork. The person will be responsible to support all existing functionalities and enhancements. The candidate should be able to drive projects and assignments to the successful completion. Communication and collaboration skills are critical for the project teams to deliver quality ERP system functionalities.

If you are looking for a team that works hard to get the job done, but has fun the whole time, we have the place for you. ERP Business Systems Analyst will work with personnel in other departments to ensure that system solutions meet informational and operational needs.

  • Document “as-is” and “to-be” process flows and understand and examine business processes using user roles, use cases, edit rules, wireframes and other system specifications in detail.
  • Conduct requirements sessions with business users and interactions with subject matter experts while providing guidance in formulating new requirements and improving business processes by coming up with creative and alternative approaches to solving business problems. Relevant experience with prior conference room pilots (CRP’s) for ERP migrations is a plus.
  • Manage scope and user expectations by ensuring requirements meet existing project budgets and timeframes.
  • Liaise with internal business and IT groups in performing support activities, system configuration and enhancement requests.
  • Work towards and lead efforts with other IT groups and business users to ensure business requirements are met, including problem resolution and systems testing.
  • Assist in developing test cases and participate in the quality assurance process to ensure that requirements are properly implemented while producing user training documentation and works with the business to train users.
  • Employ change management methods to assess needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements for issues or projects related to departmental and company objectives.
  • Follow compliance and PCC IT controls procedures
  • Analyze, defines, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
  • Interface with external software vendors for product issue troubleshooting and resolution; initiating service requests as necessary with other 3rd party vendors.
  • Clearly explain a relevant technical solution to rest of IT/ERP staff including how it is deployed, how it is used by the company, where it fits in the overall IT architecture and systems strategy.
  • Lead the effort with other IT team members to build company’s Intranet, for centralized and consolidated information hub for most of ERP reporting for the company.
  • Writes documentation or reviews existing documentation that describes installation and operating procedures and user work instructions.
  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Trains end users or technical staff.
  • Monitors performance of systems and processes after implementation.

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Analyst or Functional role for ERP migration.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting use cases and functional requirements.
  • Expertise with SyteLine or part of a team leading migration activity.
  • Working knowledge of change management and Sox Compliance
  • Candidate must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, SQL querying, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a thorough knowledge of computer system terms and functions.
  • Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw solid conclusions. Successful candidate will have proven ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables simultaneously.
  • Candidate should have proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
